The Black Business Students Association (BBSA) was originally founded in 2020 with the mission of empowering Black students in business through education, networking, and career development. After a period of inactivity, BBSA was revitalized in March 2024 under the leadership of President Olivia Collier & Vice President Dejah Marshall. Since then, the organization has grown significantly, securing 501(c)(3) nonprofit status, expanding professional development opportunities, and strengthening partnerships to better serve its members.ย
